14542 The middle and lower end of each one of this pair of antique scrimshaw walrus tusks is beautifully engraved with a full figure portrait of a fashionably attired lady of the mid 19th century. The tip of one has a ballerina and on the other there is a bust portrait of a lady whose image wraps around to the back of the tusk. Holes are drilled a t both ends of each. 16 in. long with a chip at the base of one.
