Product Description
This is a very hard to find cast iron doorstop of an art deco style sailor. He is standing over a cask with hands on hips and holding a rope in his left hand. He wears a white shirt with blue-trimmed middy collar, blue cap and blue bell bottom trousers with two white buttons and black shoes. On a black base. In excellent condition with original painted surfaces. Made by Littco Products, Littlestown , Pennsylvania, with rare original paper label. Height 11 3/4 inches.
The Littlestown Hardware and Foundry Company was founded in 1916. They produced doorstops from the early 1920’s until the start of World War II.
