Product Description
A whimsical painting of a sperm whale by Nantucket artist, Robert Perrin, well known for his unusual renditions featuring hidden ghostly images of people of the past. Here, within the whale featuring teeth made of whaling tools, are a sternboard eagle, Colonial figures, a seagull, a sailor, and a whaleboat with men rowing. The whale's spout is represented by Queen Anne's lace. The picture is framed together with Perrin's signature wooden nickels. 8 1/2 in. x 25 3/4 in. sight. SORRY, SOLD
